2-way-mirror to R-5

Is it possible to convert 2-way-mirror to R-5 using symcli?

Cool,
you will not be able to convert from 2-way-mirror to RAID-5, See knowledgebase article emc155688.

Basically the RAID-5 device is laid out differently in the symmetrix on 4 or 8 volumes depending on config 3+1 or 7+1, whereas the 2 way mirror is simply contigious space on 2 seperate drives, there can be no direct conversion between the 2 types.

You could consider cloning the Raid1 to the Raid5 symdev and then start using the new Raid5 symdev instead of the Raid1 symdev.
