Hello,
After swapping Equallogic Chassis, I get this message:

The storage array is still initializing. Limited commands will be available until the initialization is complete. Please try again later.

Hello Sharad Suthar,
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this problem.
Do you have a backup of the data and what is the model of the device?
Could you please also check other post in Dell Community Forum with common issue description:
https://www.dell.com/community/EqualLogic/EqualLogic-PS4100-Faulted-Beyond-Recovery/td-p/7693142
I would also recommend to contact Technical Support.
Please ask me if you have any questions.

The chassis caught fire a few weeks ago and was damaged. We transferred the drives (which are not damaged) to the new/refurbished chassis. The controller card had failed also (the chassis couldn't detect it.) So, we put controller cards that were in a different chassis, and therefore it has some cache on it, which can be deleted. The problem is - we don't know how to delete the cache from the controller. And, yes, this raidset has important data on it.

Hello,
Did you swap the chassis or the controller? It sounds like that controller was from another array that was not shutdown properly. It is comparing the info in cache from other RAIDset to the one in the new chassis.
If that is the case, then you are sure then you can clear the cache on that controller. Before doing so can you explain more about what the situation is? Is this a production array with data on it?
Why are you swapping controllers? etc...
Regards,
Don

Hello,
OK. Try running 'clearlostdata' at the CLI> prompt
CLI>clearlostdada
That should bring it back online. Assuming he controllers are the same model as the ones being replaced.
