Can't run cli

I had to replace a disk today on a PS6210, so I've uploaded the latest firmware kit and logged in through Putty but I can't run commands. There's a hash mark instead of > . I had no problem with the same operation last July and have been on the 10.0.3 firmware since before that, so I must be completely forgetting something here. How do I enable the shell?

Thanks.

Hello,

It sounds like you logged in as 'root' user not 'grpadmn'   Grpadmin will start the CLI> shell. You should never use the root account unless directed to by support
