How to uninitialize a CX3-20
Hi!
I have a CX3-20, it's already initialized but I have to change it's IP address and hostname. The Navisphere Storage System Initialization Wizard is saying that if I want to change any of the network settings, I must uninitialize the storage system. It also mentions that for more details I should click help. When I click help nothing happens.
So how could I change the network settings of my storage system?
Thanks,
Adam

The storage processor (SP) IP address can only be set through the /setup page and you must reset security first. Follow these steps:
1. If the array on which you cannot set the IP address ("problem array") is in a domain with other arrays, open a client on one of the other systems, and remove it from the domain from the Configure Domain dialog.
2. Open the setup page for SP-A on the problem array.
3. Reset security and domain information for SP-A by pressing the "Reset Security" button. Select "Yes" and "Submit" to confirm.
4. Re-open the setup page for SP-A on the problem array and restart the Management Server by pressing the "Restart Management Server" button. Select "Yes" and "Submit" to confirm.
5. Open the setup page for SP-B on the problem array.
6. Reset security and domain information for SP-B by pressing the "Reset Security" button. Select "Yes" and "Submit" to confirm.
7. Re-open the setup page for SP-B on the problem array and restart the Management Server by pressing the "Restart Management Server" button. Select "Yes" and "Submit" to confirm.
8. Once the Management Server on SP-B has been restarted, security and domain information will be in an uninitialized state. You should now be able to set the IP addresses by following the the standard recommended procedure (that is, set SP-A IP address and peer, reboot SP-A, set SP-B IP address and peer, reboot SP-B, then reboot SP-A again or just restart the Management Server from the setup page).
9. If the array will be in a domain with other arrays, re-add it to the existing domain. Otherwise, open a new UI to SP-A on the problem array. You should now be prompted to initialize security. Select "Yes" and add a global username and password. Then, log in, and select the array as the master node with the Select Master dialog.

I was able to change the IP address/hostname on the /setup page. I didn't have to uninitialize it after all.
