need examples of DXUL syntax for aix unix

We recently purchased ApplicationXtender to store our packing lists.  This is running as a stand alone Windows server.

Our business software is on a aix unix platform that has access to the AX server.

The package that we purchased did not include DXUL and it looks like this will be needed.

The text information that is on packing slips can be easily retrieved, printed, faxed or emailed on our business system.

A major reason we purchased the ApplicationXtender package was to be able to print, fax & email packing lists directly from our business software.

What would the aix syntax look like that would

Retrieve and display

Or retrieve and fax     (automatically at night when the software currently faxes the invoice)

Retrieve and email as an attachment  (automatically at night wheb the software currently emails the invoice)

Thanks

Can you plz provide more details? What is it you are trying to do with DXUL? Do you have a trial license?

Andrew, if you have DXUL installed on an AIX system, the syntax to access a file from command line would simply be cat filename or tail filename or even more filename. Of course, if this is a text this will work great, and not a binary file which really cannot be viewed. Essentially, at least from command line, "normal" shell syntax would do.

If you need anything else, please do not hessitate to contact dx_answers@emc.com alias for further questions and responses. There are more people monitoring that alias. Also, you mention ApplicationXtender, where does DiskXtender for Unix/Linux come into play here ?
