DX Move Rule Default Retention Infinite

Hello all,

I am running DX File System Manager 6.10.040.

I have several volumes of retained NAS Media set up, and I am trying to test the infinite option found under move rule properties. I am unable to select this option and it is grayed out from the move rule properties.

When I attempt to change the retention of a file to infinite from explorer (right-click on file, select DiskXtender, Set Retention Period..., check infinite) I get the following error message:

Message
Retention was successfully set on 0 file(s). Retention failed to be set on 1 file(s). The first error code encountered is shown below. Please run a file report to determine exactly which files failed to have their retention values set.

Error
XERR_FILE_RETENTION_OUT_OF_BOUND (16458)

Description
File retention specified exceeds that supported by media service.

Any assistance with this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Infinite is not supported. The retention period must be between 1 day and 30 years, or 10,950
days.

Is Infinite supported by other Media Services?

Yes, EMC Centera supports infinite retention.
Hope this helps.
