Upgrading inspiron 3650 hardware

I am trying to improve some of the game quality on my computer. I have an inspiron 3650 with i5-6400 CPU and 12GB ram. I want to change out the 240w for something higher like 300w and add a graphics card. Is that at all possible with this computer? Thanks

Yes, it is possible to upgrade the power supply and add a video card.

"Yes, it is possible to upgrade the power supply and add a video card."

That's bad advice.  Yes it is Possible but not easy and its UGLY.

The 3650 has ITTY BITTY proprietary power supply.

Its possible to remove the internal power supply and run wires thru the hole left behind and use a MODDIY adapter to convert EPS12v 24 pin to Proprietary 8 Pin.    Video cards MUST BE SHORT versions because the case is TINY in all directions.

You can upgrade video with WindForce RX460  GV-RX460WF2OC-4GD

If you don't mind an extremely UGLY hack job you can put a short card inside and the power supply OUTSIDE with a Moddiy Adapter.  That way a short GTX 1060 will fit inside.  You do have to turn secure boot OFF and Legacy CSM ON to get these working.
