System INI error

Hi everyone. I have an odd problem with my Dell Dimension's SYSTEM INI file. Everytime I try to run anything that is DOS based through Windows ME, I get an error that says that:

"The keyboard driver specified by the KEYBOARD = line in the (386Enh) section of the SYSTEM.INI file is incompatible with the current version of Windows.

To correct the problem, run Windows setup again."

I have not touched the SYSTEM.INI file so what's going on???

Thanks!

Kev

LongRanger,

Thank you for using the Dell | Talk forum.

Try reloading the default Windows keyboard drivers.
Right click on (My Computer), and click on properties.
Click on the (Device Manager) tab.
Click on the ( + ) sign next to keyboard.
Highlight the entry that appears, and click the remove button.
Click YES to remove this device.
Reboot the system, and Windows should reload the native keyboard driver.
