RAID 1 compatibility with Optiplex 760
Are there compatibility issues installing a RAID controller and setting up two hard drives with RAID 1 on an Optiplex 760? Anybody tried this? I'm not sure what the standard motherboard is for this system. Heres the info:

There is no native Raid support in the system. If you want to run Raid you will need to use an add in controller card.

Thanks. That's what I suspected. I just wondered if anybody had run into compatibility issues installing a controller card. What should I look for when choosing a controller card?

I know my reply is several years late , but it might help somebody with the same issue.

I purchased a 4 port PCI raid add in card off eBay and it worked fine in my 760.
