PC booting problem
When I turn on my Dimension 8400, before anything else happens I get the following message; "R432XT P/N 113-A31903-102-Rev09-16P BR#7907 A12 DDR3 bios P4Rel9.0.1". Any assistance on what i would need to do at this point would be very helpful.
Thanks.

The message just sits there. It's the first thing to appear when I turn on the PC.

Does the message appear and sit there or does it appear and go away allowing windows to start?

It appears that the message is the bios for the video card.
GPU Device Id: 0x1002 0x5D57

What would cause the bios to be displayed how can one go about remedying the problem.
Thanks again.

Hello,
It seems that there is a problem with your video card and it prevents the boot process from continuing.
You might want to try reseating the video card. If that fails and you also have integrated video, remove the card and try to enter the BIOS.
You may need to have the video card replaced.

Try installing a different PCI Express x16 video card, the Dimension 8400 does not have Integrated Graphics.

I tried a different video card and was able to get the PC to boot, but when I tried to reboot after that, it got hung up on the video card bios screen again. I've tried different things and noticed that the PC will boot correctly if there was a hardware change prior to starting. On occasion it would allow a second rebooting, but ultimately always hangs at displaying the video card bios screen.
Thanks.
