OptiPlex 5050 - power loss
I've had 2 power losses at our manufacturing plant. Both times my OptiPlex 5050 requires LOTS of work to become bootable again and takes hours. Lots of "Repairing Computer", "Diagnosing Computer". This last time I have to go back from a system restore.
What am I doing wrong?

Probably nothing -- it's not good when a system shuts down uncleanly. You may want to consider a smart UPS for the system that will keep the system running long enough for a clean shutdown when the power fails.
Something like this should do the job.
