New graphic card
I'm trying to update my graphic card on my xps 8300, I changed the PSU for EVGA 500, working fine, I'm trying to install MSI ARMOR Raddeon RX470 8gb, I have windows 10, original motherboard from Dell. previous video card AMD Radeon HD 5700 series.
I'm following the installation instruction, turn on the computer, fan from graphic card running, but nothing shows up on the screen, monitor stays on sleep mode.
I tried to installed the driver before switching the card but not working.
Any suggestion what to do?

Hi,
Welcome to our community. We’d suggest you to replace the graphic card with the old one (AMD Radeon HD 5700) and check if the computer wakes up.

Hi there. Like many other users on this forum such as my self, there have been numerous troubles with installing multiple amd cards, particularly the rx series on the dell xps 8300. I also have the dell xps 8300 and I got the rx 460 for Christmas but it would not post and I would only have a black screen. I have a psu of 600 watts as well so no problem there. I reccomend buying an nvidia card as there has been plenty of success with their cards. I have the 1050ti and it works great. There has been success with gtx 1000 series, 900 series, and some 700s. Be wary of 600s though. Hope this helps! The 1060 is a great card and is somewhat on par with the rx 470.

Thanks, yeah I updated the PSU with no results. I will try to return the card and change it for one you are suggesting.
