Line-in on Dell AY410-R Speakers not working
I have an XPS 8500 running Win8. Until yesterday (April 5, 2014), I was able to use the wired remote control for the AY410-R speakers to plug in my headset and use the microphone for Skype and other apps. Starting yesterday, the line-in no longer worked on the wired remote, but the headphone line-out jack works properly. Plugging into the microphone jack on the front of the computer works properly.
I have checked, and I have the latest Realtek audio drivers, and all the connections are correct.

I do not see how the Audio in gets to the computer because there is only 1 3.5mm Green Plug for Speaker out.
