Extra E:\ by software

Hi, H6J4k I have just installed a cd-writer on my system, all worked well after instalation, until i added the extra software that came with it. As i was installing the extra software one of the programs said i didn't have a D:\ ( i do! ) to add the program to...and would you like to create one, i clicked yes without thinking, AND now i have a E:\ that is useless because when i go to use the cd writer it says E:\ not ready, and i don't have the option to say use the D:\ My question is how do i get rid of the E:\ Thank you for any help you can give me.

If your CD-ROM is D, E is probably the CD Writer.

Thanks Denny, but my problem isn't changing the drive letter, its getting rid of the extra cdrom icon that was added. You know how when you go to MY COMPUTER and you see that you have a A: C: and D: drives my cdrom drive is D:, well i now also have a cdrom icon that is E: and the E: does not work because my cdrom drive is the D: one. My problem is how to get rid of the E: one. Thank you in advance if you have more help for me.
