What operating system? If it is XP, there is no way to make the e-button functional. The error message may be removed by updating to the latest version of bios.
Thank you so much for replying - I'm using Windows ME - this problem just started out of nowhere-would I still need to upgrade the BIOS to get rid of the message? I don't care if the button doesn't work - the desktop shortcut does - any further advice appreciated.
