Dim 4550 lights A,B green - C,D yellow

​What does this error code mean on a Dimension 4550? Please don't direct me to the documentation, this error code wasn't listed along with the other A,B,C,D error codes.​

​A - green​

​B - green​

​C - yellow​

​D - yellow​

Same problem, have you found the answer to this problem?  After rebooting several times it started up normal.  Afraid it will happen again.  I e-mailed Dell tech support, no answer yet.

Notice that you are posting a reply to a thread that is over 2 years old.  Computer models have changed significantly in the last two years.  Perhaps if you told us which model computer you have, we could suggest troubleshooting steps to solve the problem.

Have you tried the troubleshooting steps for this error code on the following page:

Note that just reseating the cards probably won't help you troubleshoot the problem.  You need to completely remove them and replace them one at a time, restarting the system each time you put a card back, in order to find the offending device.

Sorry I did not notice the date.  It is an XPS P4 3.4 GHz purchased on 07/26/04.  I have since reseated all cards, and connections to drives.  Still not working correctly.
