Boot issues
Hi
I bought an ADATA SSD 512Gb hard drive for my Dell Inspiron 5558 Laptop and it doesn't seem to work properly. I installed the hard drive in the laptop, installed Windows 10 right after and everything was running smoothly during the installation of the OS. After windows installed and the laptop restarted, a bunch o information appeared on a black screen that was summarized in "No bootable device". I thought that my Hard drive was not being detected, so I ran a diagnosis and when it tested the memory it showed me an error that said "the diagnosis of the Hard drive could not be completed, do you want to continue? " . The same error provided me with a Qr code that I scanned and was led to dell support (that contained articles articles on the matter), where I confirmed my theory that maybe my hard drive wasn't being detected, so I opened Bios and went to system information to make sure, I found out that the hard drive was in fact being detected (because the Primary hard drive, within the Device Information section, shows information of the Hard drive). Then I decided to change the boot from Legacy to UEFI or secure boot and after that it booted successfully. I decided to install the laptop drivers and make a few other app installations and discovered that when I restart my laptop it doesn't boot again, it gets on a restart loop and the only way I can stop it is when I'm redirected to a windows troubleshooter, where I can shutdown the computer. After doing that I realized that when I shutdown the computer it boots normally but whenever I restart the computer it gets in a restart loop. When I run the diagnosis, the laptop says it cannot finish the Hard drive diagosis and takes me to dell support where i cannot find the solution for my problem.
Any ideas on how I can solve this issue ?
Note: with my old HDD it doesn't have the same issue
