Exact same issue. I've tried every which way to get the file and it just isn't happening. This is the URL it is pulling from, https://downloads.dell.com/catalog/. You should be able to goto this site and download dellbootplugin.tar.gz manually and place it in the plugin directory. But no matter what I try, I get an error when I try to download this file. I've tried a number of other files on the site and they all pull down w/o issue. Googling I see a lot of issues with plugin downloads from the last year or two. Hopefully they fix this soon cause this is the only way going forward to build ISO's to update servers!

i was able to fix by deleting the dellbootplugin.tar.gz from C:\ProgramData\Dell\drm\store\catalog
then replacing with the file from the link you provided https://downloads.dell.com/catalog/.
now the plugin updated.

Heya all,
I'm having the exact same issue. In my DRM, all the other plugins update without a hitch, but the Dell EMC Bootable ISO Plug-In repeatedly fails.
I even tried the work around that you guys discovered doesn't work for me at all - only because I can't access https://downloads.dell.com without receiving an "Access Denied" page.
Is there anyone from Dell that can help me out on this one? I've even completely removed DRM, all associated files and folders and then reinstalled from scratch.

Sorry for re-posting so quickly, I figured a little workaround of my own. Somehow the errors were coming up specifically related to the signature verification for the plug-in, so I just thought 'well whatever, just delete the .sign file and try it again' and that forced DRM to download the sign file again and this time it validated without issue.
Weird? Sure. Found anywhere in any manual or support post? Nope. Worked? Yep.

Perfect. This worked for me. I needed to replace the dellbootplugin.tar.gz and the dellbootplugin.tar.gz.sign files. This was form a brand new install of DRMInstaller_3.4.2.818.exe

None of the suggestions here are working for me and I think I found out why. Not only do I not have permissions to pull the sign file down from https://downloads.dell.com/catalog/ but apparently neither does the application. I had the application pull down the sign file and I opened it to reveal...
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://downloads.dell.com/catalog/dellbootplugin.tar.gz.sign" on this server.

i would try a different browser. i can get there and see all the files. chrome, brave, edge seem to work fine. maybe try clearing browser cache.

This is an older thread but I am putting this here as it helped me. The plugins plugins kept failing to download and when I went to the download page on chrome it gave me the access denied error, but I could reach it using edge. I tried changing my default browser from chrome to edge and then the plugins started downloading in drm.

It may be stupid to revive the thread but, i fixed mine error by making a registration at dell forum (here)
and then url opens ( https://downloads.dell.com/catalog/ ) , then downloading
dellbootplugin.tar.gz, dellbootplugin.tar.gz.sign
and replacing them here ( C:\ProgramData\Dell\drm\store\catalog ) fixed my problem.
