Failed to create Repository for VMWare VCenter
This morning I installed Dell OpenManage Plugin Integration appliance 4.2.2 into our VMWare 6.5 environment. That looks good and hosts are reporting to it.
After that, I installed Dell DRM 3.01 and am attempting to setup a repository for Integration as such:
Repo Name: VMWare Repo
Base Catalog: Enterprise Server Catalog-18.07.02
Integration tab:

Hi Michael,
Dell Enterprise Catalog does not supports windows 32 DUPs for R730.
Change Dup Format: Windows 64 and retry. It should work.
If you still specifically need windows 32 DUPs for , change base catalog selection,
Index catalog -> Catalog groups : (Update catalog (Gz) format xxxxxxx) -> Catalogs -> chose any catalog equal or before december 2017 and retry repository creation.
Hopefully above suggestions will work. Let me know if you still face issues.
Thanks,
Senthil

This morning I installed Dell OpenManage Plugin Integration appliance 4.2.2 into our VMWare 6.5 environment. That looks good and hosts are reporting to it.
After that, I installed Dell DRM 3.01 (on Windows 2012 R2) and am attempting to setup a repository for Integration as such:
Repo Name: VMWare Repo
Base Catalog: Enterprise Server Catalog-18.07.02
Dup Format: Windows 32
Integration Type: Dell OpenManage Intregration for VMware vCenter
Virtual Appliance IP:
vCenter Server IP:
Username: administrator@vsphere.local
Password:
Click Connect
the app must make a valid connection as the physical hosts are enumerated in the window. Note we have all Dell R730 PowerEdges only.
Click Add
Now, on the Repository tab of DRM, you see the spinning icon indicating something is processing. After about 1 minute or so the repo attempting to be added is removed and I get a message "Repository creation failed VMWare Repo"
log file drmsvcoutput.txt shows inventory collected from each host.
I am kind of stumped at this point and wondering if someone else has any recommendations.
As we have a requirement to only use security protocol TLS 1.2 on our servers, I thought maybe DRM needed older TLS 1.0 so i re-enabled that. That had no affect.
thanks,
Michael

Senthil, you rock!.
I was always using the win32 dups in the past so had blinders on. Did not think to use the win64 dup.
Repository was successfully created.
Thanks for the suggestion.
