Export Configuration Data
Our OME 2.1 database is corrupt and our OME servers are scheduled for replacement in the next few weeks so I have opted to wait until then to perform a complete rebuild. I have invested a significant amount of time in the configuration and would prefer to automate, or automatically document, this rebuild as much as possible.
Is there a supported method to export OME configuration?
I specifically need to export discovery ranges, alert actions/ignores, device queries, and device groups.

The only way I can think of is backing up the SQL database, that contains everything you are talking about.
One other thing you can do is to create exports of the tables in OME. Every table in OME can be exported by right clicking in the table and select export. There is however no way to import it again but you could you use it for documentation.

The only way to do that is to create periodic database backups, that way you're able to restore to a point in time.
Just curious, what is corrupt in your database?

MARTIJN,
I don’t see a database backup as a solution. That is likely to “carry the corruption” along with it. The primary reason I plan on a complete rebuild of our OME, and SQL Server.
So far the export table is exactly what I'm doing. The problem: 1) That does not capture all the information about a discovery range, only name, IP address, and subnet. 2) There is no export for queries, alert actions, or device groups -- that I can find. That solution only addresses a small portion of what I need.

I can't say. I opened a case with Dell and that's the conclusion the analyst came to. Symptoms are:
1. Can discover new iDRACs but they do not show up in any of the queries/lists, like "All Devices." If you search for them you can find them and they are inventoried.
2. Can not delete any system update tasks.
3. Enen though a newer catalog exists I can't update. The task to update to the newest catalog is never created.
If you have other suggestions I'm open to hear them.
A utility to run some queries to extract configuration from the database would be really handy.
