Alert for high CPU
Hello, I have PowerEdge R420 with Server 2008 R2 that is spiking CPUs. We are running OMEssentials 2.5 (and OMEnterprise 3.3.1) and would like to get notifications if the CPU goes above 80%. Any great ideas or links to documentation will be gratefully received. All the best, John

Hello,
To the very best of my knowledge, neither OpenManage Essentials nor OpenManage Enterprise will do this. They'll monitor for errors, but utilization percentage wouldn't trip one. If you need an out of the box type solution, I'm told SolarWinds has a product that may work for you.
