Showing IP instead of hostname in Devices

After upgrading to 3.10.0 a lot of devices show up with ip address instead of host name.
I have run discovery several times but still most devices show ip address, but not all.
The Discovery settings is set to : General Device Naming:DNS - Server Device Naming: System Hostname.

I have tried to delete a device and rediscover, but it still shows ip address.

Before upgrading all devices was listed with host names

Last update: Got help from support and they told me this would be resolved with next update.
Problem was a known issue with the 3.10  version related to the Redfish protocol.

Just updated to ver 3.10.1.54 and everything is fine again

Hello kokla55,

Are you using these steps for discovery?

Create a device discovery job : https://dell.to/3lCeSbc

Are you discovering via OpenSSH

Discovering devices : https://dell.to/3Eu2eSz

In order to support discovery with domain credentials, OpenManage Enterprise (version 3.2 and later) uses the OpenSSH protocol instead of the WSMAN protocol used in the previous versions. Hence, all the Windows and Hyper-V devices discovered prior to updating the appliance have to be deleted and re-discovered using their OpenSSH credentials. Refer the Microsoft documentation to enable OpenSSH on Windows and Hyper-V.

You will need to use SSH for Windows 64-bit driver updates.

This video shows how to enable OpenSSH in Windows server at the 4:30 time mark

You may also try installing the iDRAC Service Module (iSM) on the host and re-discover.

Just rolled back to 3.9.0 and everything looks fine again. Then upgraded to 3.9.2, still fine.
But as soon as I upgrade to 3.10.0 host names show up as iDrac-xxxx again

Our discovery settings that has worked for a long time

we have all servers ilo adress in DNS, and in pre 3.10.0 versions they show this under DNS names in OME. But as Soon as I upgrade to 3.10.0 it changes DNS Name to iDrac-serialtag.

Hello,

did you tried to see what happens if you discover with System Hostname? The problem is the same?

Hello kokla55,

On your last image - Try toggle Server Device Naming to System Host and see if that shows how you want.

Can you verify it show the System Host name in the iDRAC GUI?
