If I update to OpenManage Enterprise update to 4.2.0.89 from 4.1.0 (Build 237) my Update Manger Plugin v1.5.1.436 will be disabled..why?
As the title describes, when I try to update to the latest OpenManage Enterprise v4.2.0.89 from 4.1.0 (Build 237) it warns me that my existing Update Manger Plugin v1.5.1.436 isn't compatible and will be disabled until it is updated to a version that is compatible with OME 4.2.
The problem I have is that 'Update Manager v 1.5.1.436' appears to be the very latest version available and has been for sometime now. I've checked the repo's and 1.51 is all that is available, so I now have a chicken and egg situation where I want to jump to the latest OEM 4.2 yet it will break my 'Update Manager' plugin unless I update that with something which isn't yet available.
Surely I'm not the first engineer to notice this oversight by Dell? or am I missing something here?
Advice would be greatly appreciated

Hello thanks for choosing Dell and welcome to our community.
First finish OME upgrade
then plugin
latest UPM is not 1.5.1.436
latest IS 1.6.0.460
supported by OME 4.2.0 to 4.2.9

@DELL-Young E
Thank you for your reply, however its a little different to the situation in the link you supplied.
I need UPM 1.6.0 .x to work with OME 4.2, UPM 1.5.1.x isn't compatible. UPM 1.6.0.x isn't available within Dells repositories that are used by OEM, screen dump below, the latest branch available is 1.5.1 and I'm struggling to find any download that references UPM 1.6.0.x
Do you have a link for UPM 1.6.0.x ?? Ideally I wanted to use Dell.com sources direct from OME which points to https://downloads.dell.com/openmanage_enterprise/
Your help is greatly appreciated

FYI for other engineers who might also have concerns.
From my observations, after you update OME to 4.2 the UMP is disabled as you would expect but with an option to upgrade. When you proceed it then gives you the option to pick from the repo the update you want to apply where the only option is v1.5 (which is already installed and disabled because it isn't compatible with OME 4.2).
However, when you proceed it then downloads v1.6 and installs. Very confusing, whilst it downloads and installs the correct compatible version you would never know unless you proceed because it never references 1.6 as an available choice.
Anyways, all sorted. Thank you for your help
