WindowsPE 10 - PSDrive Dellsmbios could not be created

This is on a Precision T3610 and I realize this isn't on the supported list.  Why does the powershell provider only work on some systems?  Is there another way to see if the settings are enabled that will work on every system?

I have cctk working and the provider is working on an E7240.  Is it possible to see if a setting is active with cctk to set variables?

Hi PHHD,

The currently available Dell Command Powershell Provider 1.0 in PSGallery is only supported on the platforms enlisted in the portal with appropriate BIOS version.

This rigidity is there because the product uses a technology called WMI-ACPI to query BIOS and Get/Set respective attributes.

Please note on unsupported platforms there is no workaround like changing settings that will make DCPP 1.0 work, it has to adhere to (Platform,BIOS) matrix.

Hope this clarifies...

Thanks.  I went with just using the cctk to check for the setting and then set it accordingly.
