Auto Login -- LDAP group mapping

Hi all,

I have justed installed DPA 6.5 latest version at a customer site and we tested the Auto Login -- LDAP group mapping. We configured accordingly the guide and it worked fine until we found out that the LDAP group in AD was empty. We we're still able to login to DPA with any AD account in the customer AD.

We mapped the LDAP group as a DPA Adminstrator Role meaning that when the Auto Login is enabled everybody in the customer AD can login to DPA as an Administrator.

Below is from the guide

The group mapping feature allows DPA to map specified LDAP groups to DPA roles so

that you can be assigned different DPA roles depending on the LDAP groups that you

are in.

As I understand this, you need to be a member of that specific LDAP group in order to login to DPA or else this doesn't make any sense to me.

Anybody else who have tested this?
