VTL LTO7 - iBMi
We have recently installed a new DataDomain. This DD now supports LTO7 tapes (Virtual tapes)
When creating a new VTL, when choosing IBM-LTO-7 for drive, our choices for changer can be one of the following:
L180, RESTORER_L180, TS3500, i2000, i6000, DDVTL
Does anyone know which of these choices are compatible with iBMi Power series? I have tried L180 (the "default") and TS3500, but the iBMi team is reporting that they cannot get the (virtual) tapes any larger than 4tb. I just want to make sure that we are providing the iBMi Power team with the optimum configuration from the Data Domain perspective
Also, if anyone has any tips/tricks to offer in regard to iBMi Power series and DD VTL's, it would be much appreciated
