DS60 + PowerEdge 640 (or any other)

Hi!
I have an interesting task: I have a few spare DS60 shelves, a bunch of 4 TB or 8 TB genuine 3.5' SAS drives, SAS cables, SAS HBA's from DD6900 and R640. I need to connect somehow at least one shelf with R640 but I don't know how. It seems like in the case of DD6900 - DDOS is responsible for SAS handling, at least it looks like that because the SAS chain doesn't establish until DDOS fully boots and iDRAC doesn't recognize genuine SAS HBA in the Devices menu or under iDRAC PCI slots tab. Maybe PERC handles SAS connectivity but I can't deduce so far. 

If you have any ideas on how to make R640 (or any other server with PERC) use DS60 as JBOD - much appreciated)
