Data Domain DDOS support for NFS 4.1

Does anyone know if  and what version of DDOS can support NFS v 4.1 ?      We're running 7.7.4.0-1017976   (DD6300, Backend to Avamar Gen4T  19.4.0-124).    Evidently the VM restore  DD  Instant Access  no longer works after they Upgraded to ESX 7.0 updt 3.     "NFS FSINFO failed with NFS status 2 (Not found) on Server (ip addr) path /data/col1/avamar-xxxxxxxx/VMDS/Avamar-MOD-xxxxxxxxxx.

 I do see the NFS export getting created in the DD System Manager GUI with the mount option for nfsv4,  (and is left around after the failure and I have to remove it manually).   Given that path  we attempt to mount it by hand from vmWare /ESX ,  and see messages in the vmkernel log on ESX  that the (NFS) server does not support NFS4.1.    I am able to mount that path manually from  patched-up-to-date  RHEL7  with  it's  NFS4.     Has anyone seen this?
