Waiting for Refund

Hello,  I was supposed to have a refund on 29/12/2022 for my recent order, but I have still not received it.  On the 29th, the telephone representative stated that I would receive the refund later the same day.  I am very concerned, as the purchase is for a substantial amount of money.

Please advise as to the above.

Managed to get my money back, and placed the order again.  I placed it yesterday, expecting them to ring same-day.  Now I go back to College tomorrow and I'll probably have to come out of class.

If they mess up the order again I will go elsewhere.

 

@TheMachineCraziness Banks generally don't do anything unless the payment has actually "debited" (no longer pending).  I've dealt with companies like this before, and the standard response is to wait until the money is actually taken.  My bank (let's name names: Chase) also refused to grant provisional credit, so I had to wait even longer for Dell to decide to give back my money.

document your communications, and possibly file a chargeback on your credit card to maybe expedite action
