Package Got Stolen
I ordered a new laptop and it was scheduled to deliver this week. The package was shown to be delivered yesterday afternoon, but I never received it and it should’ve been stolen.
I was working in the office during the delivery time. The delivery man just left the package in front of my door without signature, but I believe the signature is required. They also updated the tracking with the photo of the package placed in front of my door, but when I got home the package wasn’t there anymore.
- I only got notification for “package out for delivery”, but didn’t get “delivered notification” until this morning. The reason why I found it delivered yesterday is because I logged into Dell account, tracked the order and found out it was delivered.
- It should’ve required signature to deliver, so the deliver man should’ve not just left it in front of the door when there was no one at home.
- The laptop delivery was handled by Pandion Company.
- This morning, another much cheaper accessory was delivered separately by FedEx to my apartment’s parcel room, which was safer. I have no idea why Dell chooses FedEx to deliver cheaper items, but a less reliable delivery company for the expensive laptop.
What should I do next? I even couldn’t contact a live agent because the customer service keeps having AI voice, redirecting me to the website and ending the phone call.
