Loyal Dell customer, feel like I was misled
I have been looking on the market for a new desktop PC for work, and as with my previous 4 machines, I went with Dell because I like the build quality and they don't seem to come with bloatware like other companies.
I put an order in for an inspiron desktop last night as it said on the Dell website I could have it delivered today, and I took time off today from work to do things around the house so I could receive the delivery.
I was texted last night to say delivery was expected today.
It is now the afternoon and wondering what time it might arrive, I followed the link to track my order and it says my order is 'in production', and expected delivery is the 20th of January, 9 days from now.
I would not have placed this order if I'd known it would be this long and feel like I was tricked into ordering it. I would have looked at buying a machine on Amazon where delivery schedules have always been on time for me, or a physical store instead.
I'm frustrated I've wasted a day, and there was no text or email update to say the delivery was pushed back.

Thank you for confirming the order delivery. I get your point & it does take some time for the site to show the details once the order hit the production stage.
Do reach out to us for any help needed.

Update- the PC was delivered this morning, whether Dell pulled some strings or it was a miscommunication about the 9 days delivery I'm not sure but happy to have it now.
