Alienware Warranty Scam

New Alienware x17 R2

Ordered new in March 2023. Registered it when I got it. In May 2023 received an email stating that a replacement had been shipped to other address using my name. I live in North Carolina and did not order the replacement, there was nothing wrong with the one I had. I looked up the address on Google maps and it looks like  a business with multiple PO boxes, apparently a drop location. I contacted Dell support before it was delivered about this and they told me in their broken English that it would be turned over the the investigating department, whatever that is. They also guaranteed that my warranty and my service tag would not be affected by this. So today I get a system generating email that says "Dell Replacement Final Notice" - "Your account is past due. The support on your equipment will be suspended if the original unit is not returned within 90 days from the date of invoice". I did not order a replacement and I did get the transcripts of both of the customer service calls. Why would they automatically ship to any address other than the one registered to the account?
