7 months, never provided a return label for original PC
Hi all,
In December 2023, after many attempts at on site repairs, I received a replacement system and was told that I would be contacted within 3 weeks to return the defective laptop.
It has now been 7 months, I have been stuck in an endless loop of speaking with people who have not helped me.
In February, someone emailed me and said that someone would contact me to schedule a pickup. This didn't happen.
I have called the technical support number numerous times, I always end up with someone german speaking despite my selecting english. The phone support tells me to email instead.
* Then the email responses tell me to call technical support.
* Calling international support resulted in an automated response telling me to find the solution online.
* The online support gives you the number, because the system is out of warranty so I can't open a case on it.
* I've spoken to help chat who put me through to supervisors who give me the number to the german speaking tech-support, who again just tell me to email.
I've literally been going around in circles, I have just spoken to a guy who provided me a link to the general recycling service. But my concern is that this isn't tracked or monitored, if I send the laptop back via that I am concerned Dell will actually contact me some day and ask me to return the item, and it will cause problems down the line.
Can someone inform me what i'm actually supposed to do here?

Thank you for reaching out and we apologize for any frustration caused. This forum is designed for the North American market so our ability to offer assistance is limited. I have submitted an internal request to our EMEA team with your contact info and service tag. I would expect them to be in contact early next week, and I will keep an eye on the request to make sure things move forward.

The team advised they had resent the request for pick up. Can you please confirm if you have received any action from your end?

@DELL-JoeyR Hi Joey,
I appreciate your assistance but I haven't recieved anything? How or where are they sending this request? I've recieved nothing in the mail, no text message and no email.
The only emails i've received from Dell are automated, 2 step authentification mails that I get when logging in to check.
I've just checked my account, my address, my phone number and my contact email are all correct.
