How to undo recent activate zones in Connectrix

I have recently add/create 1 new zone at Connectrix, and when I click activate and select 'changes only' (in order to see what recent changes), I find out a lot of other activity whereby consists:
-My recent add 1 zone
-Couple number of zone removal

I was not really aware why there are number of other zone removal while I'm only working on adding 1 new zone, and I thought that this was normal as someone might be recently removing the zones but haven't activate it hence when I activate it actually clean up all the pending history.

My questions:
-Once I have activate this, can I undo this?
I just knew those couple number of zones removal are actually still active zone, hence now I'm really in the position of bad guy eventhough my work is only adding 1 new zone, but someone before me must be deleting some zoning without activate it.

-Is there any way that I can activate only my 1 new added zone and to exclude number of zone removal whereby deleted by someone before me?

Thanks a lot.. and need your immediate feedback on this...

highlight your zone set and click export ..so you have an xml copy of your zone set. If i were you ..i would ask your co-workers if anybody has any pending zone removals and if it's ok to go ahead and remove them. If you don't hear anything ..i would push them back into active zone set ..at this point when you try to activate it again ..it should only show your zone addition.

hi dynamox...
tx for ur share.
can u share of how to push them back to active zone set (is there any automate way) or do i need to manually highlight zone set and click export to xml and then note down one by one all the zones alert that I receive when the time i pressed button activate, whereby it normally shows list of zones will be removed and the zone i have just added, then i cancel it then ...how to push it back to active zone? is it one by one re-register it under zone set etc...?

kindly advise on this...

another question, how am i able to auto backup this zone set in daily basis hence in any case someone incidently remove zones i can still have fresh update of what zones previously configured in daily basis. thx a lot...

so when you highlight your zone set and click activate, in the summary screen it should tell you which zones are being added and which ones are being removed. The ones being removed are in red color, note what they are and click cancel. Now in your "Zones" screen ..find these zones, highlight them and click on the right array ..which will add them back to zone set. Now when you try to activate this zone set ..you should only see your zone addition.

You are correct, to create an xml copy ...highlight the zone set and click export. It's a good question about automating zone exporting process ..i have not looked into that. If you figure it out ..share with us ;)
