Cisco MDS Remove members from Port-Channel

Hi, I did setup port-channel in Cisco MDS9148 with 3 interfaces and the channel mode is ON. I have a requirement to remove one interface out of the port-channel. I was reading the Cisco guide and found the below info for Interface Deletion from Po-Ch.

If you use the default ON mode to avoid inconsistent states across switches and to maintain consistency across switches, then the ports shut down. You must explicitly enable those ports again.

Bit confused here. Does it says while I remove one interface from Po-Ch, all remaining ports in the Po-Ch will shutdown and I have to enable them again or is it the interface which is being removed will be shutdown and I have to enable again to use it.
