Problem updating Storage Center

When I launch Storage Manager Client (Version 2020 R1) and click on "Log in to a Storage Center or Data Collector", I can log in.

After logging in, I get this screen:

If I click on "Check for Update", I get this:

Is there any other way to update it?

Hello Zappware IT,

Thank you for the reply.

When you do an upgrade you should call in to Support team and open a ticket.

An engineer will then do a remote session and run health checks on the system to makes sure a system is good for upgrade.

Once we confirm health checks look good we create an update rule for the system to reach out to our SupportAssist servers to download.

The reason you are getting a "system is up to date" is because you don't have an upgrade rule in place.

I recommend to call in to support to work with an engineer. If you don't have an active warranty you can ask about a Post Standard Support contract.

Hello Zappware IT,

Can you let us know the Storage Unit Model you are working with?

Hello,

It's a SCv2020.

Hello hupvik,

My support contract is expired, so I haven't been able to do it yet. I still need to talk to management about extending our contract.

You basically have to call Dell support and tell them you want to update your system. They have to do some checks before the update becomes available.

Hello Zappware IT,

My support contract has also expired.
Without it, technical support will not help?

Hello hupvik,

I'm not sure yet, but you could try.
I also find it odd I can't even manage it at all without updating..

It doesn't help, 2020DSM can't login due to old firmware...
