The systemadmin (sa) user is only used one time and that is when the Enterprise Manager software is creating and configuring the database (named compmsadb), and creating the local user compmsauser. Once this process has been completed Enterprise manager will not use this login again, and the sa account can be disabled. There are no scripts that can be used in order to bypass this process. It is possible to create an administrator level user account in order to install the Enterprise Manager software. Contact Copilot at 866-397-8673, or support@compellent.com in order to request information on this.
