Can't assign new disks SCv3020

Hello,

We recently inserted new disks into the storage system (SCv3020), but we cannot assign them. An error. The failed disks (which were marked in red) were removed using the delete function. Attached are screenshots. Tell me what to do in this case.

Could you post image of the drive labels and I can check if they are validated for Compellent SCv3020?

Hi,

 

What Charles mean is to take a picture of the drive white label. The white sticker label should be showing the details of the specification and part number of the drive.

We don't have a photo of the labels, but we do have information on the disks.

Disks:

HDD DELL EMC 10 TB, S/N: ZPW0A1N0, P/N: 2H3230-157, Seagate ST10000NM0598
HDD DELL EMC 10 TB, S/N: ZPW0BCF7, P/N: 2H3230-157, Seagate ST10000NM0598

Where those hard drives comes from?

It is a Dell order? Do you have any problem with the other hard drives?

Hello,

Other disks did not fail; only two disks failed, which we inserted into the storage system.

We were supplied with discs by a service company in our country.

So we cannot help too much, this storage is supported only with hard drive from Dell.

ok please can you check the Dell serial number on the label? It should be something starting like CN-0

If it is a Dell part it the label should be there.

Can you send a picture of both side of the hard drive?
