what is equivalent for pv timeout settings in linux
we had a situation where ORACLERAC cluster crashed during a reboot of SP. SAN path redundancy was confirmed. I know for hpux servers the recommended pv timeout setting is 180, and want to know what the equivalent for pv timeout in linux would be? anyone familiar?

The two places you can check would be the Linux Host Connectivity Guide or try going to the HBA manufacturers website and where you download the EMC driver should be an install guide with some information in it.
All other host connectivity guides on Powerlink are found under: Home > Support > Technical Documentation and Advisories > Host Connectivity/HBAs > Installation/Configuration.

what is the time out value? There is a value at the kernel device/scsi time out value... Or do u see in the lvm2 level itself?
