Dell Chromebook 3100 - USB-C Heaphones only work at 100% Volume. USB-A and 3.5mm Headphones Work at any volume
Good Afternoon,
Several Technicians around my organization are also reporting this happening.
When USB-C Headphones are connected to Dell 3100 Chromebooks, the Headphones only play sound when the Chromebook is set to 100% Volume. At any notch lower they don't play anything.
USB-A and 3.5mm headphones do not have the same issue, they can be whatever volume and play. Other Brand Chromebooks (from HP) don't have the same issue, this appears to just be the 3100
The USB-C headsets have been tested and work fine on Windows Devices, and were working in the Chromebooks up until last week.
We have tried Force updating the Chromebook to V99, but the issue also happens on V98. The devices have been PowerWashed, Cache/Cookies Cleared, and Extensions disabled. But the issue still persists.
Possibly a broken Chrome update?
Anyone else have a fix to try?

Any update on this issue. I am experiencing this with my fleet of 3100's.
