retention on CIFS-Share (CUA)

Hello,

following problem:

I use a CIFS-share on a centera over CUA provided from an external servive provider. I only have access to this CIFS-share, not directly to the centera.

And now, I have to set retention periods on directories in the first level of the share.

What I've found is this: Setting retention periods in CUA. But I don't have access to the setup utility....

How can I set the retention on this directories.

Thanks for your help.

Hi There,

Are you using an external or internal CUA?

Seven10 Storage is a long time EMC partner. We are also the recommended next step for customers using any EOL/EOSL CUA models. Our gateway file system, StorFirst EAS, is a highly scalable, highly flexible and highly secure software used with Centera and Atmos predominantly. Our intelligent policy manager allows retention, encryption and life cycle rules to be established at the user, application or storage layer. A more robust solution than CUA offers.

Please let me know if you would like to talk about this project in more detail.

Looking forward,
