Newbie looking for Centera advice and pointers

Hi there,

I'm new to the EMC Centera product and recently inherited a 4x 4TB Gen4LP nodes, I would like to set these up and use them in-house.

The nodes currently have software on them but I am unable to access anything.

I would be extremely grateful if somebody could give me some pointers on how to get them setup in a new environment.

I have no knowledge of CentraStar which I believe is needed, is there a free downloadable copy available? I suppose I would also need an image file to install on each of the nodes in order to set them up, is this available? Or is this part of CentraStar.

Thanks in advance for all your advice and pointers.

Centrastar may be pre-installed in the box, you may use the startup CD to install Centera Viewer to monitor the cluster.
