does centera cluster with ARM capabilities set up with default retention period

I am using one of the center clusters with ARM support. Is default retentionPeriod being used in the case when I do not specify retentionPeriod and what the default retention period is.

Thanks

the fact that arm is enabled would not necessarily cause a default retention period to be set but it may be enabled at the cluster level.  What cluster are you using?

Actually I'll amend what I said previously, with arm being enabled on a cluster (not just given to you as a capability) the SDK will always apply a default retention period.  On this pool that is 0

Thanks Paul. It makes it more interesting. I archived some of the data to that cluster without specifying any retention period and when I looked at the metadata for the archived data the retention period was set to 1 hour (I was not able to delete the archived data for the hour).
