define 'event' retention after initial XSet.commit in XAM(Centera)
Hi,
I reviewed XAM documentation (XAM Arch 1.0 - Figure 21-23 under 9.2.1) and got an impression that definening whether I want ever execise "event" retention for particular XSet must happens during ONLY initial XSet creation (event retention is defined and disabled). Can someone clarify it? What we are looking for is creating XSet with simply base retention, and than later for ONLY some of them define and enable event retention; in other words:
- Create XSet
- Set base retention
- XSet.commit()
- Later optionally we decided to add event retention
- XSet.
setRetentionEnabledFlag(“event”, false, false)
- XSet.
setRetentionDuration(“event”, false, XXX)
- XSet.commit()
- XSet.
- Later the event is happened
- XSet.
setRetentionStarttime(“event”, false)
- ...
- XSet.
Is it achivable? We need all that manipulation to be unbinding to preserve original XUID.
Thanks,
