Centera Viewer 4.3: problem when running scripts
Hi Everyone!
As part of a field install of a Centera, I have downloaded and installed Global Services 4.3 on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop.
I have logged into the Centera and am attempting to run the "show cluster time" script. However, I am getting a "result not ok" error.
Can anyone shed light on what this means. BTW, I also tried running "adjust cluster time"...same error, "result not ok." If anyone can assist on this (preferably before I go onsite tomorrow morning 7/22), please PM me at djl@icgcan.com. Thanks!
P.S: No roles have been defined on the nodes as yet and I am communicating through the cube switch.

Please try it again after completing the installation. There is no need for the customer to connect to the cube switch and CV should logon to a node (IP adress) with management role.

Hi Helmut!
Thanks for your response!
The Solve Desktop produced a procedure that directs you to check/adjust the cluster time *before* roles have been defined, hence why we are accessing the nodes via port 24 on the cube switch. We are waiting for our LAN ports to become active. Once the LAN ports are live, we will configure external roles and try again.
Best regards,
Derek

Hi Mohammed,
Please confirm, that you exactly followed ALL steps described in Chapter "Installation Set Cluster Time" in the document for new installs, compiled by the Procedure Generator. e.g. Nodes unlocked; your PC time is less than 5 minutes away from e.g. www.thetimenow.com

Hi Derek,
you need to use the latest serviceext.jar, you can ask Centera support to give that to you.
