Centera - modify the time replication occurs
We are looking at moving the secondary node in our Centera cluster offsite. How do I detemine the amount of data and time frame replication occurs? And it replication between the primary and secondary is immediate, can it be changed to every 4, 8 or 24 hours?
Here is the print out from the Centera Viewer - SHOW REPLICATION
Config# show replication detail

EMC released a new CentraStar version (4.2.0) which allows scheduling of replication. This is a new feature with this release. If you need this functionality, please consider upgrading your Centera clusters to this new code.

You cannot set replication to 4, 8, etc hours. The best thing to do is before you shut down the second Centera is to pause replication. Confirm that replication is paused and then move the second Centera. Once the second Centera is up and running just resume replication and you are all set.

No. You have clips in the queue waiting to be replicated and that's why you see a replication lag

So there is no way to make the replication occur less freguently? In the report I see (Replication Lag: <1 hour)
