Unable to authenticate via Unisphere console - waiting login
Hello EMC gurus,
I would like to get your help on a strange problem :
I have a NS40 upgraded to Unisphere 6.0. The system works fine, except SPS-A defective, this will be managed tomorrow.
When I use Internet Explorer to authenticate on Unisphere console, I get Unisphere Manager, it opens a new window and it stays on the blue screen, nothing comme after..
This problem was appeared recently, it was ok 2 days ago.
I have rebooted the Control station, and this is not the solution.
Authentication via the front serial port works fine.
Also to authenticate via the network management port with Putty is fine also
The nas_checkup shows that all is working fine, except DNS and NTP which are not reachable.
server_date server_2 and date commands shows that the system is at the correct time.
I tried the following actions :
Modifying the laptop system time, trying 2 days later and 2 days before whithout success.
Changing the Java version on my laptop : 6u16 and 7u9 the problem is the same.
Trying with Fifefox and with Chrome, same problem.
When I get the blue screen, I see network activity for about 30 seconds on the CS,
In the nas_chekup, all are pass, except :
Control Station: Checking resolv conf...................................... Warn
Control Station: Checking auto transfer status............................. Warn
Blades : Checking DNS connectivity and configuration............... Warn
Blades : Checking connectivity to NTP servers...................... Warn (only one NTP server is configured)
Could you give me some idea to investigate this problem ?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards.
Raphlou.

If you haven't done so already, how about:
- Clear your browsing history
- Clear all cookies
- Close ALL (keyword: all) opened copies of the browser in question, then try again.
You might also want to add the site to your "Trusted Sites" if using Internet Explorer.
All of the above are generic desktop troubleshooting steps which I recommend you give a try before anything else.

Hello Ajit,
Thank you very much for your details.
Unfortunately, this will be helpful if I get the first popup with the security warning. When I hit the CS IP address,
I get a second window with the blue screen, and I will not get any other message. I see network activity on the CS, and on my laptop.
The situation is locked on the Unisphere blue screen, and I cannot go further.
I have followed all the information and the recommended actions, without success.
Also, I have given points at all times for all the posts given to my questions, but you have requested them early, I don't have a solution at this time, my problem is still in investigation.
Best regards.
Raphlou.

Have you tried from a different system? I think you mentioned you tried from a different browser, but can you try from a completely different computer?
