Slow IDRAC firmware upload through CMC 6.1
Trying to upload new iDrac 2.63.60.62 to a M620 Gen12 through CMC 6.1 but it's taking too long to complete .. it has past 30min and only 10% upload...
Anyone having this same issue? I'm using 6.1 for at least 6 months, and this is the first time updating iDrac firmwares that causes this issue..when I updated to 2.60.60.60 did not had this issue, this is a iDrac package problem or CMC issue with this new firmware?

the CMC 6.20 fixes the issue, but just to let you know, the slow problem only happened in 6.1 using idrac firmwares with lifecycle controller, with other firmwares, like CMC, SAS RAID or Ethernet Controllers, no problems!!

Hello,
This is the first I've heard of the issue, but I'll see if get the same behavior on a set of test systems. In the meantime, I would try restarting the CMC, or failing over to the secondary CMC, if you can. The idea would be to see if the behavior is isolated to the primary CMC, or if both do it. If the secondary also does it, restart and fail back over to the primary. This would tell us if the restart did anything or not.
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

I also tested it on another M1000E here with the same 6.1 CMC version, and the behavior is the same!!! I tried also with a different version of iDrac (2.61.60.60), and the slow issue also happens!!

I didn't saw any fix listed in this new release regarding this issue, but I will try to see what happens!!

If that is the case, I would try updating the CMC to the latest version, 6.20. I'll link to it below.
