Remaining capacity, or total capacity of an RMG
I've got a simple configuration of 2 RMGs replicating to each other. I can find out how much space each subtenant is using with the command https:// /sysmgmt/tenants/ / /scMetrics , but I need to find out how much space is remaining to allocate. I looked at https:// /sysmgmt/rmgs/ /nodes/ , but it only shows the RAW capacity on one node.
Is there a call to get the amount of usable capacity in the whole solution, or an RMG?

Can you install the ATMOS Capacity Reporting Tool? After it does the collection, you'll get consumption by tenant, which should give you free capacity per tenant as well.
Will this work for you? Let me know!

Can you tell me where I would go about getting this tool? Or is this something i should open a SR to get accomplished?

You can download the ATMOS capacity tool by going to support.emc.com and searching for "ATMOS" in the product field. You'll see this tool in the list:
This will let you download an RPM that you can install on Linux. Follow the installation instructions closely and you'll get the same results I did.

Thank you. I thought with version 2.1 restricting access to root for customers there would be a new or different method. Looks like to get this running I'll have to give a shout out to support.

With version 2.1 me (customer) is not allowed shell access through any account am aware of. I'll get support on the line and get them to install the package. I'll let you know how it goes.

See you can use 'sudo' to install the tool. If that fails, you'll have to have support assist with the installation. Let us know how it goes!

Ah - that's good to know. I'm on 2.0.3.76102 and am considering an upgrade to 2.1 in the future. I'll have to keep that in mind as well - thanks for the tip! Let us know how support goes getting the package installed!

Going through with support worked out just fine. The instructions really don't specify which config files to edit and where to point them so with a little guidance in that area it's up and running.
