Alienware m15 blue screen Driver Power State Failure
I recently got an Alienware M15. Since the beginning, I have been getting frequent blue screens with "Driver Power State Failure" and "PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA". Even when I am just using browser, once or twice a day the laptop heats up and the fans turn on completely. Even after upgrading to the latest BIOS and the windows updates, the problem persists.

I’m getting the same issue. When I got my first M15 2 months ago, I had these BSODs (and some VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE) BSODs almost constantly, so I sent tried troubleshooting the issue with Dell’s tech support. They couldn’t figure out how to solve the issue, so I sent the laptop in for repair. Apparently they weren’t able to fix it there either, because they completely exchanged the computer and gave me a brand new one. Things went fine for the first few hours, but after maybe 6 total hours of use I’ve already gotten a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA BSOD on a brand new laptop that they sent to me as an exchange...

Hi jmstops
If you haven't updated the drivers on the computer:
I'd suggest you do so by entering service tag number (or use the Detect PC option) onto the link below.
Support | Dell US
https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04
After, select Drivers & Downloads, and then Detect Drivers in your Dell Support Product page.
By the way......

If the computer already has the latest Dell drivers:
Look for any Unknown Devices or yellow exclamation triangle in device manager. You might have to expand each driver heading to search for them. Please type Device Manager onto the search box, you should now see the system drivers.
Example:
